50. What are the key decision the SEBI has taken to protect the interest of Mutual Fund investors?
Ans: SEBI , for the first time ,issued a set of regulations in 1993 to regulate the Mutual Fund Industry and to protect the interest of its investors .Later, it was found that there were several cases where the industry has not followed these regulation fully.In 1996,SEBI revised its regulations issued on Mutual Funds ,which govern the transparency of operations and disclosures standards of Mutual Fund Industry .SEBI has also set up various committees on accounting policies, NAV and Pricing of MF units.
